PRL

PRL is a nostalgic Polish retro music style inspired by the sound of the 1960s–1980s Polish People's Republic (Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa). It blends melodic pop, big beat, rock, funk, jazz, synth-pop, and orchestral arrangements with warm analog production and cinematic nostalgia. The genre captures the atmosphere of old Polish festivals, television broadcasts, vinyl records, and late-night radio while adding modern production quality. It draws inspiration from the music of artists such as Czerwone Gitary, Maanam, Republika, Lady Pank, Budka Suflera, Perfect, and the orchestral pop of the era.
